1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate, and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean application that lets you set schedules and customize the S1’s behavior.

When I tested the S1, it was quick to map the downstairs area, which has linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, along with carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was capable of driving up to walls and even cross raised thresholds without any problems. However, it had some difficulty navigating down the stairs in one step. The S1 did a good job cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and swung up when it came to carpets or carpets.

The S1’s docking station automatically empties its trash bin and fills its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated waters prior to each mopping session. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water for deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 cleaning sessions, but it will differ depending on the frequency you use the mop.

The mopping capabilities are quite good as well, with a pair of spinning mops that actually lift and scrub floors instead of simply dragging the pad over it. The mops are cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as required. The mops can also be filled at the top of the station as they are required.

1. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest flagship robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-off maintenance making it a top contender on our top mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush ensure that an effective, customized cleaning is achieved.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up fine and large debris from both hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests with ease, avoiding pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping performance of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush which automatically extends to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and mop pads that run along baseboards.

Its navigation system is nimble it can navigate through narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without missing a step. It can move from one room to another without needing to reverse the direction. This is a great feature for homes with a lot of rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than that of some competitors and leaves a wide space over obstacles. This could lead to miss-hit spots.

The app is streamlined user interface that is designed to be easy for both novice and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings, adjust mopping and suction power settings as well as view 3D and 2D maps, and more. You can control it via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. It has a suction power of 5500Pa and an automatic-empty system that means you don’t have to empty the bin manually each time. It comes with a smart application that lets you schedule cleaning and choose the floor type. It also features an automatic water tank filling and washing system for hands-free operation.

Its mops also impress with their 2700Pa power that can take on pet hair and dirt on carpets as well as hard floors. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn’t have any problems with carpets with high piles or area carpets, but it didn’t clean up cables or kitty litter, which is no surprise considering it doesn’t include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

K10 Plus is the quietest robot vacuum we’ve ever tested. It also features an innovative mapping system that lets it reach tight corners and corners that other vacuums are unable to.
